Just keeping up with your inbox could easily be your full-time job. I like to keep my inbox organised and clutter free, but it took me some time to find out the best way to do that without spending hours on it. In this post I'd like to discuss a few tips & tricks that have helped me decluttering my inbox.

What's in my bag?


Hi guys! I've been a little MIA but my final exams are coming up so the next four weeks I'll be stuck in my room studying from dawn till dusk. But I don't want to neglect my blog in the meantime so there are plenty more posts in the making.
In this post I'd like to show you what's in my bag. This isn't a special edition (well maybe it's a little bit of a spring/summer edition), I want to make another 'what's in my bag?' post when I'm traveling to New York and Toronto because I'll be carrying a few other items that I'd like to show you.

Swimwear picks


Although summer is still two months away, in some countries the weather is already hot enough to exchange your hoodie for a tropical coloured bikini or swimsuit. If that's not the case... It's the perfect time to get some inspiration and check out the latest trends on swimwear, or maybe even purchase a new bikini. I find myself browsing through the various swimwear lookbooks long before it is actually hot enough to get in bikini. But hey, better early than late! Maybe my favourite bikini or swimsuit will sell out in just a few weeks and I'll be too late to place my order (probably not, but that's my way of convincing myself)

Tips & Tricks - Self tanning guide


Now that the weather is slowly getting warmer, I like to prepare my body for the first day that I can finally wear a skirt and show my legs. To trick people into thinking I've already spend hours of tanning on a tropical island, I use self tanning products. When I first started self tanning, I was very afraid to become an orange. Therefore I started out using products like the Dove self tanning body lotion. Before using a self tanner that would instantly darken my skin a few shades, I searched online and found some pretty helpful tips to prevent yourself from turning into an orange. In this post I'd like to share my tips & tricks on self tanning!

Food: Salad with beetroot, goat cheese, walnuts and bacon


On days when the weather is warm (which will hopefully happen soon here!) I like to eat a salad. It's a light meal and highly digestible and therefore perfect for summer and spring. Because I don't like lettuce, I started experimenting with different kinds of salads without a lot of lettuce leaves. A salad with beetroot, goat cheese, walnuts and bacon is currently my favorite combination!

Night Time beauty favourites


Today I want to share with you my favourite night time beauty products. I love reading about the products other people use and in this post I'd like to share mine. My beauty regime hasn't changed much over the past few years. I've switched a couple times between different brands but I usually stick to the same products for years.

Refreshing water with lemon and mint


I have a hard time drinking water, it's just too plain for me. I used to drink a lot of lemonade, but because lemonade contains a lot of sugar I searched for a more healthy alternative. I came across something I wasn't familiar with: Flavoured water. I had seen my mom drink it before, but I thought that it was one of those tricks to lose weight and didn't think the water actually tasted like fruit ;-) But I decided to give it a try and it instantly became my favourite refreshing drink. Perfect for spring and summer.

April Goals

Each year we all make New Years resolutions. Last year I decided to take that to the next level and make a small list of goals at the beginning of each month. I think setting goals that are not too big for yourself each month is a great way to just get things done. When I accomplish all of the goals I've made that month month, I think to myself - Hey, I proved to myself that I can do that!
